Walter, many thanks for the clue, but I think we can exclude that possibility as we both using high precise and disciplined HPSDR stuff with accuracy of +/- 1Hz. While Alfred has implemented FreeDV via an API of his 'homebrew' SDR operation software I have access to the radio via VAC. As mode 700B works fine and 700C not, the problem seems hidden elsewhere. We'll find reason why.

Of course, having the sync carrier in the 1600 mode really helps lock the station in. Earlier today I was testing with 700c and found that 50hz and 100hz off was ok, but at 150hz the audio was lost. Even though the signals looked very good in the waterfall. Hope we can get to work you guys over there soon.
