That's what I'm doing also. Right now I just have the tx code only being worked on.
I got just the "ANALOG" mode to work at 640 bytes (it was 320 in mode 1600). Now that I've added in a few freedv_api calls it is blowing up, but it's manageable as I don't have the whole kitchen sink in there. More enjoyable that way.
