Hi all,

I'm still recovering from lightning damage, 23/3/19, anyway...

Having a Codec2 repeater on HF is one thing but having an appliance
(small box, goes between speaker and mic to SSB transceiver)
might get some activity out there.

1) I've modified it to use a stereo sound device to use
channels; (Left) for receive and (Right) for transmit.

2) I've added the Tx text string as a command line option.

3) PTT input, I'm in the process of adding an RS232 port
to use either DSR or CTS to sense the PTT signal.

So, hardware needed:

Raspberry Pi (with two USB ports)
Creative Sound Blaster Play! 3
PL2303 or FTDI USB serial port

-----------
Reasons for USB peripherals, can run on any Linux box, PC or Pi.
No reliance on GPIO for PTT sensing.

I'm not good at this C++, as it was Fortran I learnt at uni in 1972.
But I'm getting there.

Any thoughts?

Keep smiling
