You mean like the SM1000?  There's been a lot of fine work on the stm32
code by Don and Danilo recently.  We are getting close to a 700D release
for the SM1000. One really nice development is a suite of automated
tests we can run on remote stm32 hardware from anywhere in the world.

There are also a couple of development 700D projects on the Pi.  Matt,
you've mentioned, is doing some fne work.  Also Ugo in Italy has made
some FreeDV 700D contacts using his Pi.

Ugo has hit some problems running freedv-gui on his Pi.  That's an
interesting little project for someone to work on.  I suspect it's CPU
load/sound driver issues but we need help from someone to run it to
ground.  The Freedv API stack runs OK, and at a acceptable CPU load.
