Hi all, Apologies, some of my problems have been in compiling the codec2 2020 library, not specifying where LPCnet was located. Thus no 2020 mode.
Add a line in CMakeLists.txt snd specify. (line 126)
I've included here my Stereo version of "SmallDV".
Left channel in and out are Receive, Right channel Transmit.
Thus not needing audio switching as with the original "smalldv".
But, the 2020 mode does not work as expected.
Mode 700D in transmit emits constant audio (as expected)
Mode 2020 in transmit mode emits blurt, silence, blurt, silence etc..
(all codec2 code downloaded today)
The FreeDV 2020 GUI
=================== It sometimes will go into receive but dies
when [Stop] is pressed with this error:
rxFifoSizeSamples: 2960
free(): double free detected in tcache 2
Aborted (core dumped)
It looks like I have to load Ubuntu 18.04 on a suitable system
and give that a go.
