My SM1000 does not work with linux (ubuntu 16) too - power up with PTT
pressed etc, plug it in and dmesg says: "xhci_hcd 0000:00:14.0: Timeout
while waiting for setup device com
usb 1-1: device not accepting address 13, error -62"
Could it be something to do with trying to run it with a USB3 port?
