Hi Steve,

That's great but we don't have a QO-100 satellite in the Pacific. so we have to
use the

ionosphere as our repeater and to help that along, terrestrial repeaters.

As mentioned, I'm no C or C++ guru. All I'm asking is, some pointers to using
the

latest Codec2 library to get "freebeacon" working again and from that point,
I'll

get "parrot" working again. And SmallDV.

Now that we have mode 700D in the SM1000, we have two ways to run mode 700D.

Base on a PC and a portable.

In my previous email I've included the sourcecode of both "freebeacon" changed
to mode 700D

and "parrot". Just "untar" the package, "cd build" "cmake ../" and "make
freebeacon".

Now a question for David.

I've been battling with mode 2020 on the ARMv8 platform (Odroid N2). I notice
when

running the app that sync is detected and has no dropouts. Can the modem data
be saved

and not "uncodeced" to audio as this takes too much CPU for the ARM processor?

ie. Could "freebeacon" run in mode 2020?
