Ok. That's my thoughts too. The system-wide LSB-compliant version is now available from SF (freevo-src-*). I need more time to work on the package+runtime version since I had a hard disk crash last week and am still trying to recover.... Speaking of which, I'm not including the freevo_dep init script since it basically invokes lirc drivers. The lirc package already has an initscript to do it.
