Ok. That's my thoughts too. The system-wide LSB-compliant version
is now available from SF (freevo-src-*). I need more time to work on the
package+runtime version since I had a hard disk crash last week and am
still trying to recover....

Speaking of which, I'm not including the freevo_dep init script since
it basically invokes lirc drivers. The lirc package already has an
initscript to do it. I've also modified the boot_config for the RH
environment, but there seems to be some environmental variables that are
no longer used (and not referenced in the freevo init-script), e.g.,
VTRELEASE, MATROXSET, etc.
