That is nice, but I would prefer not to have it on my system, I know I can just replace that image but perhaps we could just detect the host operating system on startup and display the appropriate image.
It would save space, and be easier to add more logos (windows?) if we split off both Tux and Beastie, and drew them seperately from the rest of the logos.
If you implemented it, I wouldn't object :-)
