For Freevo 2.0 we still need mpeg2 output. I don't think it is that much work. So you could output Freevo to the card and when you want to play, you can use the card directly, stopping the stream from freevo. All we need is some code to convert an image to a mpeg2 stream and send it as long as the image does not change and change the image in the stream on command. All this should be done in C using ffmpeg (or is there a different mpeg2 encoder out there?) Dischi -- UNIX _is_ user friendly - it's just selective about who its friends are!
