Yes, the attached script produces that output on my Gentoo system, with
dev-db/sqlite-3.3.5-r1
dev-python/pysqlite-2.3.1

Nice that you're tracking this down.  BTW: I realize that you use "INSERT OR 
REPLACE" without giving the column names.  If you leave out the autoincrement 
column with the None value by explicitly listing the needed columns, does 
that maybe help?  (INSERT OR REPLACE is a complex command after all, which 
first has to check for an existing row and may be mislead by the 
autoincrement maybe?)  Just poking into the dark.
