I believe it started since switching to lsdvd for DVD parsing. When browsing an inserted VCD disk in Freevo, it just says "No Titles" or something similar. What does 'mminfo /dev/cdrom' say when you insert a VCD? And please try kaa.metadata next, it is the new home of mmpython. Details at http://www.freevo.org/kaa.
