Hi, Following my yesterday post, I'm still having troubles with PAL/SECAM selection.
I did numerous tests (probably not the good one :-) ) I changed my kernel version (2.6.20-14) I changed the ivtv version (0.10.5) I changed the lirc version (0.8.2, but this should probably have no effect) I'm still using the same release of freevo 9774 I reduced the number of group in VIDEO_GROUP to only 2 : One for the tuner channel, set by default (group 0) and one for my composite entry, in PAL (group 1). So far, I encounter two different troubles : 1) Not able to change the tv standard in a VIDEO_GROUP If, just after starting freevo, I select a channel from the group 1, freevo select as expected the composite input. So I know that my VIDEO_GROUP is at least partially understand by freevo. But the standard is still the standard selected in the freevo.conf file, whatever I select. If I put pal in the freevo.conf file, then freevo is really started in PAL (and stay in pal !). So freevo is able to set the PVR-150 card, but not from a group. 2) freevo is not able to change the input after first selection. If, after starting freevo, my first tv selection is for the composite entry, then freevo will stay to the composite entry as long as freevo is running (not xine, freevo). If I begin by selecting the tuner entry, freevo will again stays on the tuner entry. I must says that, on my living-room freevobox (svn version around 1.7.2), the PAL/SECAM and the Composite/Tuner selection work fine, but the card is a PVR-350 (The Linux configuration is also a little bit older, and I think -the box is down at the moment- that python is in version 2.4) Any ideas ? Am I alone with this trouble ? Thanks, Pascal ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
