I have just committed support for Schedules Direct
(www.schedulesdirect.org) in kaa.epg, which will be used by Freevo 2.

Schedules Direct works pretty much the same as Zap2it Labs used to,
except of course it is now a paid service. It seems as if the price
will be $15 for 3 months, which is quite reasonable IMHO. Freevo has
been added to the list of Approved Applications on schedulesdirect.org,
so Freevo users may subscribe to the service and select Freevo as the
application.

Schedules Direct is presently in a closed beta and isn't accepting
public accounts, but my uninformed speculation is that they will be
offering subscriptions before Zap2it Labs stops providing service.

I expect Freevo 1 will continue to use xmltv.

Cheers,
Jason.
