I've just installed 1.8.0rc2 and the kaa packages from sf.net. Freevo
with this version of kaa exits cleanly.

With the svn version of kaa and freevo, it still hangs when it is
shut-down or Ctrl-C'd.

Ok the child recordserver process was there with 1.8.0rc2 so I will have
to do some more research into the problem.
