You said in a earlier post that someone with a dvb tuner should have a look to adapt the vg helper. I can be this guy. But the initial vg script didn't work on my system (because of a 'non v4l2 compatible' /dev/video2 device, my webcam). I could have disconnected the webcam, but found funnier to modify the code ;-) Anyway on my test version, vg runs now and generates a very nice entry for the TV_VIDEO_GROUPS for my PVR-350, and hapilly ignores my zoran acquisition card and my webcam. Is that the only work of the vg helper ? I did think that this tool also can scan my TV Network ? Was I dreaming ?
