I think Via is really charging too much for their boards. The M1000 Mini-itx motherboard is selling for about $178 now and the processing power is probably the equivalent to Duron 650.
A micro-atx motherboard with onboard sound, video, and lan can be purchased for about $60 1.3GHz cpu for $35. I got a case for this with S&H for about $33. For mini itx cheapest case is about $65 plus S&H. Slimline DVD drives seem very hard to find from large vendors. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Randall" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, August 11, 2003 10:47 AM Subject: Re: [Freevo-users] mini itx cases > On Monday 11 August 2003 5:57 pm, skeeterskip wrote: > > Yes, the price for that really takes away from making something for > > reasonable price.
