Hmm, that's weird :/
I downloaded the source from cvs ~2 weeks ago, and it worked just fine. Are
you sure that
you have read/followed the wiki? ;). It might be your ffmpeg that's causing
the problems too.
You need that exact version that I wrote in the wiki.

Anyway.. I must say that I really recomend you to buy a geforce2 for your
htpc. I have used
my dxr3 card for a little more than a month now, I was quite saticfied with
the results.
But I found that freevo 1.3.4 was much more unreliable as 1.3.2.
Last week I got my tv card working, but it behaved quite strange. So I tried
to use freevo
with my tnt2 card instead, and all of my problems dissapeared (cpu workload
increased thow).
Freevo became stable ;).
The OSD worked fine (you can hardly even read the subtitles with a dxr3
card), and I could even
watch my recorded shows ;). With the dxr3 card the screen just went green,
and yes, all
other divx/xvid.. etc worked fine. Nowdays I only use the dxr3 card for
audio output.
But anyway, if you still want to use your dxr3 card for video output just
follow the instructions
in the wiki. You have to do everyting in the exact order of the wiki, and
use the exact versions.
Btw, did you get any errors when you patched your sdl source? It's possible
that the patch
have became obsolete :/, if that's the case, just read the .rej files to se
what went wrong
and make the changes yourself.

Regards
Johan
