Don't worry, I don't know how to use cvs either,

I did notice that if you allow mplayer to play the dvd's Freevo comes up
with a list of the tracks. Just the ... 0_0.vob 0_1.vob ect.

If you want to know how to enable mplayer in freevo I can tell you if
you want.

When you installed freevo 1.3.4 did you remove all the old 1.3.2 files ,
inluding the stuff in /tmp /etc/freevo $home/freevo it may also help if
you run a debug, or you start freevo from a shell, then you can see the
output.

Don't worry, I cant seem to get the cvs versions to work!!

Yes, Mplayer works fine with dvd's...I just don't have the dvd menu
functionality in Mplayer that works in xine. It would be nice to keep
xine if that is the only way to get dvd nav menus.

As for freevo, I'm using 1.3.2 as when I tried to install 1.3.4 from the
distribution files I had problems with it (it locked up on main screen,
graphics looked blocky, wouldn't respond to keys on kb, had to end it's
process to shut it down). I'm still trying to figure out how to use
CVS...extreme newbie there and no docs have been clear enough for me to
leap into it.

Thanks for your help guys,
Keir
