Don't take offense, but the most probable cause of MAME DIR_GAMES errors is just that; You've entered the wrong path and/or misspelled it.

Try this: /usr/bin/env python -c "import xml.utils" It's possible that you have multiple Python versions; if Freevo is using one, but the module is available for the other, you could run into trouble.
