Regardless, is there a reason that freevo would be ignoring mplayer.conf? (I know it is parsing it, as it will error if a deliberate typo is introduced into mplayer.conf).

I just upgraded from 1.4 to 1.5-rc3. I have been scaling all my divx
files via mplayers vop=scale=800:600 so that all files fit the full
screen of my television, but this is no longer true in this version of
freevo. Mplayer when invoked stand-alone works correctly. Perhaps I
am not doing the best way? I am using freevo via framebuffer (no X,
framebuffer is set to 800x600x16) with a scan converter connected to
the VGA to the RCA in on my 16:9 television.
