Hi,

I've been working on a FreeBSD Freevo port for a while now and since
it's getting close to rc4 and hopefully a final release I'd like to try
and get it submitted.

I'm looking for anybody on this list using FreeBSD to give it a try.
I'm running 5.2.1 so I'd love to get some feedback from users of 4.10
(anything 4-based ;). Feedback from 5 is also something I want to get.

The major change from the regular RC (apart from the hopefully helpful
freevo.sh.sample and create user/group) is a hack to get DVD playback
working properly. If you could have a look at the following:

1. If DVDs are detected at the ``Watch a Movie'' entry.
2. If you insert a DVD at the menu, does it autoplay?
3. If you eject/insert a DVD does the ``Watch a Movie'' drive entry get
   updated?
4. When playing a DVD from the ``Watch a Movie'' menu do you a) get the
DVD menu in xine; b) get a list of tracks; or c) get a list of the
   contents (vob files, etc.)?

You can grab a tarball of my port from
http://www.fajita.org/~lewiz/freevo-1.5rc3.tar.bz2 -- it creates a
freevo directory so you can untar it from multimedia.

  Thanks very much!

-lewiz.
