I've been using freevo for some time now, but only now joined the mailing
list. I just installed 1.6.0, and have been playing with it for a day or so.
I had some setup trouble for

DVB transmission stream for a given frequency carries typically multiple
channels, and it is thus possible to record multiple channels simultaneously
with a single tuner card.

Freevo configuration does not hint at any way to this possibility. To my
knowledge it is impossible to instruct freevo to record two or more channels
(streams) simultaneously. I'm not sure if mplayer is capable of doing it
either, but with dvbstream and post-processing it should be possible. The
recording driver (freevo) should just be smart enough to realize which
channels are bundled in the same transport stream and can thus be recorded
simultaneously, while refusing to record from separate streams.

Perhaps this is already possible, and I'm just missing a pointer to
documentation?

PS. My use environment, not that it should matter that much for the questions
above: Mandriva 2007, Hauppage WinTV-Nova-T, France
