Usenet is practically another www.  There is a lot of copyrighted
material under a license that prohibits distribution (in some
jurisdictions) but also a lot of freely distributable stuff.  Frankly I
don't see why such a plugin would be any more illegal than a web browser
plugin.  Now, if the default was to setup grabbing from groups like
alt.binaries.tv, then an argument could be made.

But in any case, it makes no difference to me if this is distributed
with freevo.  If it's something that makes you uncomfortable that's
fine.
