I am running it straight from a unpacked tarball. Hmm, well the wiki has suddenly changed - it used to say you could do this in the install instructions (and was the reason I chose freevo over mythtv)... Anyway, I did take a shot at installing it once (via `python2.4 ./setup.py --prefix /opt/freevo`). I think it did pretty much the same thing though - the python/zope crash thing, not the buggy silent exit thing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Freevo-users mailing list Freevo-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freevo-users
