Thank for the answer Yes I still have 1.7.x (9), I would try to install 1.8.x but on Ubuntu (7.1) it seems to be difficult, (package corruptef) and dependencies not available;
It why I think I'll re-install all my system soon (6 month at the end of TVshow seasons) but with a Debian not an ubuntu... By the way for your suggestion to clean all freevo directories and build directories, can you please tell me who / where they are ? I'me a software developper but not in python and I don't understand everything with this language (so many directories) Last time before my 1.7.9 reinstall I have erase all this directories : rm -r /usr/lib/python2.?/site-packages/freevo* rm -r /usr/share/freevo rm -r /usr/share/doc/freevo-1.* rm -r /var/log/freevo/* rm -r /usr/share/pycentral/python-freevo rm -r /var/lib/freevo rm -r /usr/share/doc/freevo rm -r /etc/init.d/freevo rm -r /etc/default/freevo rm -r /usr/bin/freevo rm -r /etc/init.d/freevo_* Am i forget one ?
