Got some problems solved, and others not....
The live_pause2_preferred_player variable...... well that didnt work because I
made a type in the local_conf. oops
I also disabled the wireless card and just started the loopback interface and
unfortunately I still get the error.
I am trying to put some debug statements into the __init__.py file to see how
it is trying to create the socket for my install. As of yet nothing.
As for the new version. If i install it to a different location or not install
it but just run it from the location I download the svn version will the new
version use any of the old files other then configuration files?
