Hi all, Has been a while since I managed to get round to getting my router up and running again (WGT634u).
BACKGROUND: I had changed some network settings that had locked me out of the router. I could not longer access the router on 192.168.1.1 THE SOLUTION (or so I thought): Build serial cable, get new build, flash to router, and then all would be well... MY PROBLEM: The flashing seemed to go well as read through the serial console, but I still cannot ping the router on 192.168.1.1 through either WAN or LAN ports. Does reflashing not alter pre-existing network settings? What else could I be doing wrong? I have my computer set to IP 192.168.1.10. Router-Computer link status is active at speed 100.
