Can you show us the output of "printenv" in CFE?
May be you have some problems with the bootloader variables. This
occurs sometimes to me, I am not sure why and when this happens.
Can you access the shell on your device via serial console?
Netgear WGT634u is special, that means, normally you flash the
device via the WAN port, and after that your LAN port is set to
192.168.1.1.
May be the device still uses the old wrong network configuration,
because it is kept in the fwcf partition. If you get a shell on the
device you can use mtd erase fwcf, to get rid of your old /etc and
start with the new plain from the firmware image you have flashed to
the device.
