You see? 100% use on the partition being mounted as / .

Well, doesn't seem like you're really over it. ;)
Maybe the problem you had still exists. Another possibility is you just
installed too many packages. Because of the diversity of the supported
flash chips / filesystems, the task of checking for free space before
installing something is left to the user for now.
