Hello list,
I have a question regarding installing an nfs-server. I have not
figured out how to setup nfs right on my Asus WL-500gd.
I've installed the following packages:
kmod-fs-nfsd
nfs-utils
Then I've edited the exports file:
"/mnt/disc0_1/data franz(ro,subtree_check,all_squash,insecure)"
After that I started the nfsd "/etc/init.d/S70nfsd start". This seemed
to work too.
The problem is I can't find the nfsd process in my system("ps -Af")
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc# ps -Af

302 root 560 S sh
326 root 424 S /usr/sbin/mountd
334 root 376 R ps -Af
And when I try a rpcinfo on my desktop computer I get the following
output with no nfs service(192.168.178.34 is the router).
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ rpcinfo -p 192.168.178.34

100005 2 tcp 929 mountd
100005 3 udp 926 mountd
100005 3 tcp 929 mountd
Is this correct?
Thank you for your help.
Greetings
Jonas
