Emergent Complexicists, however, believe in symmetry-breaking at the onset of a phase-change. I would think that the shooting of one knee would suffice for symmetry breaking and inducing a properly interesting phase change. Which chirality would you prefer in your resulting gait? I myself tend to in leftward leaning spirals, but suspect you might prefer something more to the right.
