Hello, I'd give Wordpress a try again. Themeing is very simple if you just download one of the hundreds of available templates. You can download and activate them from the wordpress control panel. Then changing the main or background picture is as easy as uploading a photo under the header menu.
Most of the other CMS solutions seemed more complex and overly complicated when compared to wordpress. My solution would be to download LAMP/MAMP or WAMP, copy over wordpress, then find a theme you like.
