The Everglades National Park might be worth visiting: https://www.nps.gov/ever/planyourvisit/guidedtours.htm If you're into boats, maybe escape the Republican hellscape with a trip to overpriced tourist stops in the Bahamas. Then cruise on up to Merritt.
