I think Ralf told you everything what can be said about this topic.
Of course, you can mimic the behavior you indicated by choosing another type
(e.g. InputForm/OutputForm), however, there a zillions of possible
representations, so do it yourself. There's really nothing you can't do what
other CAS can, and usually vice versa ...
Read the "book" and you'll be surprised :)
