Hi,
I was talking about making initramfs for Frugalware, as you all know (it's not
something new) mkinitcpio package from arch with the dependencies (rebuilt)
works
*as is* on FrugalWare, The problem is that udev will drop klibc so I want to
rawrite it to use something else.
VMiklos suggested to use dietlibc, Dietlibc can be used to get more binaries but
I'm afraid udev doesn't compile under it (Donno where You got the info from
VMiklos but it doesn't), So can you please suggest something else to replace
klibc
with ??
I'll vote for busybox because apparently they got a built-in udev support[1]
(though I haven't tried it yet)
Busybox is best used with uClibc, and udev will build with it seeing as
they use it in buildroot.
I just want to make sure what you guys are aiming to have, so I can begin
working on
re-writing it for other than klibc... :)
Thx
