If there is some blocker bug, then of course we can delay it. But in
general, in a hobby project like Frugalware where developers do the
whole work in their free time you can choose between feature-based or
time-based releases.

Feature-based means that we have a definitive feature list, and release
the next version When It's Ready (see for example Debian).

An other method is to define the date of a release, then decide (based
on what time permits, etc.) what feature go in and what should be left
out to do the release by the given time.

Of course both methods can result in a high quality product. In case of
Frugalware, you can always know when do you get the release, but the
"what" is usually decided in the last minute of "before freeze". ;)

In short: don't worry, we'll have the feature freeze after rc2 to fix as
many bugs as time permits.
