Given that we're not a company we have to choose between: - we have a set of features and we work on those in our free time and when they're ready, we release it or - we have a set of release dates and based on what is ready till the deadline, we release that. So far we followed the second rule. This is mainly about features, but we have a timeframe for bugfixes as well. To sum up: no, I don't want to extend deadlines as that way we'll be in the "no fixed set of features and no fixed deadlines" category. (I'm already working on manually fixing up failed builds, if we accept patches causing a release bumps again, I may start the fixup work from the begining again.)
