Here are version of my tools if that helps. openssl 0.9.8-18 wget 1.12-3 pacman-g2 3.7.6-3locris1 pacman-tools 1.2.1-3locris1
uname -a : Linux orion 2.6.32-fw3 #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue May 4 03:51:22 CEST 2010 i686 GNU/Linux cat /etc/frugalware-release : Frugalware 1.2 (Locris) And I forgot the most important : I'm about to release a game under Linux. The game is almost finished, I'm polishing the user interface, and the hardness of the game (Its simpler to write a game than to write good levels/difficulty). The game is **fully** customisable, almost all is parametered with definition files / xml files. A level editor exists, and we can almost redraw everything easilly. You think I've missed an important thing ? The kind of game ? Later, later gnark gnark gnark :-P And the best Frugalware will be the first distro to have that game. ----- [email protected] a écrit : > Hello > > I'm annoyed with corrupted package, and am pretty sure that they are > good. > Pacman wants to upgrade itself but is not able to do so, because of > that error. > When trying to skip the upgrade process (by pressing n when it asks) > the same error occurs : > > # pacman -Suyy openssl > erreur: échec de validation de la transaction (paquet corrompu) > In english, that means "Validation failed (package corrupted)" > > # pacman --nointegrity -S openssl > > Still the same error > > And still the same with --force ! > > I'm stuck with that problem, any idea ? > > --- more --- > > At the first attempt, pacman could not upgrade itself because wget > openssl had some dependencies. > I've removed the dependencies, then wget and openssl (with --force > :-() > Yet, I've upgrade wget, but am unable to upgrade openssl. > > I'll try to copy files of openssl from another computer to upgrade it > manually.
