 Maybe and maybe not, you have to draw the line somewhere. With a
release the developers assume a certain responsibility that the
product is in ( somewhat ) working state. With a SVN or git snapshot
it's really just a lucky guess and who makes it ? Why do you get
that's day's source code and not the others.
 I think that in this respect Frugalware's take on this is a very good
one. Yes, sometimes you really need SVN code and you package it but
most of the time it should be and it is avoided.
