Do you remember file 5.07 (which we first shipped in 1.5) did not
recognize zip files due to a typo? That's why we have 5.09-1mores1 in
-stable ATM, fixing that issue.

Yes, that sounds reasonable. If 'file -bi' returns a string starting
with 'application/octet-stream', we could fall back to the old one.

Dex, if you do it the above backwards-compatible way, no objections to
touch source/include/util.sh. :)
