OK...having support for it (like in Arch) would be good-enough.
Finally, syslinux is in the package tree, so why not taking advantage
of it.

Let me see about my time...now we're learning (some) Git...and then
we'll read about frugalbuilds...there are some nice ideas there afaict
in comparison with Arch. ;)
