Let's see what do we have there: mouseconfig: still needed by gpm.service (but probably only setup invokes it) netconfig: this is needed ATM, can be replaced by NM one day raidconfig: used only by the setup timeconfig: used only by the setup xwmconfig: used only by the setup, in the rare case when xdm is the DM So in short, if you do all these in the setup, just keep netconfig. And once the new installer is proved to successfully replace the old one. Even netconfig can go, if you provide upgrade instructions for static IP server setups (this is just a question of documentation).
