timeconfig sets up the /etc/localtime symlink (to point to e.g. /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Budapest) and runs hwclock --systohc --utc or hwclock --systohc --localtime, based on what the user selected. James said that he plans to implement these config parts of the installer so that they can be still invoked from the installed system -- if that's indeed true, then that will obsolete frugalwareutils.
