Jim, Actually, it's *very* possible, and as I'm typing to you, I'm printing normally with my Ubuntu :-)
We should see the issue as it's just normal SAMBA printing, and the accounting stuff is just the server-side, it doesn't have anything to do with our client (Equitrac something...), as long as SAMBA printing is supported. http://img242.imageshack.us/img242/7541/verifiedzn2.png Pros: - You don't have to authenticate every time you want to print or every time you login. - Holy smoke, it's fast. Cons: - You have to know the exact printer name and model because it will not be automatically detected, but you can look up here: http://its.truman.edu/networkservices/network-printers.pl?server=tp1 I found out that the models listed are not very specific, you still have to go to the printer and look for its model - for instance, the model on VH2000 lab is LaserJet 8150 - opposed to "8000 series" listed in the table. Happy printing! - H. On Thu, Apr 24, 2008 at 8:35 PM, McNabb, Jim <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I believe the full answer is actually no. > > I.E.
