Hi, all. I've noticed that the update-manager in Ubuntu disables all package repositories that it doesn't recognize as part of the upgrade process. There doesn't seem to be a way to turn this feature off. That means that it doesn't seem possible to use the officially recommended upgrade path and still get the use of our local mirror. Does anyone have experience with this problem?
I'm trying it again, and I plan to try to edit /etc/apt/sources.list after the update-manager makes its changes and before the downloading starts. We'll see if that works. And yes, I could just do an "aptitude full-upgrade" on the command line, but Ubuntu always claims that update-manager is preferred because it does more than this.
