I read a post on /. just a day or two ago that would do exactly what you
have said. The title is something like "Remote desktop alternatives" or so
on Ask slashdot.

You would have to put a reverse ssh connection script from the Pi to your
unfirewalled computer on your rc.local and will be all set.

I found the Pi to be pretty easy to work with, however, it seems to have
problems with my keyboard...
