While that is the case, GNU cannot in any way be associated with anything nonfree anymore then the FSF can be. > Bryan Quigley <[email protected]> writes: >> I agree. There is no confusion here. The difference between Debian and the Debian Project is completely immaterial to either being considered freedom respecting. Debian "the system", allegedly 100% free, was not suddenly discovered to our shock and amazement to share the name Debian with another completely autonomous developement movement who just so happened to be engaged in making nonfree software packages, hosted on the same servers, in the same filesystem tree, that work remarkably well with the package management of its unrelated free software counterpart. So then you say, that over there, that's not part of us. We love freedom. Its they who are ruining it for everyone. Its not worthy of the attention of a thinking person. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.19 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJQHdlyAAoJEM5s7GXJ0FEIJ78H/3qnWpgGZv3vTWWxR05iAuVR zK70pK0qn91dmtopLoT1GWr7L9OBQkujLljZDkLUqOJA0zRCWpnraBOU7IIWN82U JGtWkRnb9r1Oaql++ad7FF61FIj5UC/n8zgkUKkhhdHvy23Gf8S5Asowx2s/8fGr N+OTQYUtxA4jM5QPQur/OM2J/jEn+ZGyX1IUZKIFQ3F1LCqhQAhys7EBE7/T36bT t6U254NebjodIiWvJgIhdyRuonmDRj1ZowAhoe2sYy0UWAhxVoKao01EjfA4n316 8I9H6m/N+f4iez5XPy2tU8CB0GOV+2rf5Ho2tchysMkWfH1CHBbaauXqFGr2Dvk= =FlSW -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Fsf-collab-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/fsf-collab-discuss
