Thanks! This type of errors: WARNING: [/167.6.232.207:39625] EXCEPTION: org.apache.mina.filter.codec.ProtocolEncoderException: org.apache.ftpserver.ftpl et.FtpException: The response could not be sent for 5 seconds
would typically be due to the client dropping the socket without notice (might be due to the client shutting down/crashing or a firewall breaking the socket) or due to very slow network connections. Does any of those sound reasonably in your environment. The time out interval for socket writes is current hardcoded to 5 seconds, we should probably make it configurable. For this error: Feb 14, 2008 1:56:05 PM org.apache.ftpserver.IODataConnectionFactory createDataS ocket WARNING: FtpDataConnection.getDataSocket() java.net.SocketException: Connection timed out:could be due to invalid address I would need to full log of the session before and including the STOR command. /niklas On Feb 14, 2008 9:05 PM, Philistine, Ralph J <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > > I have since found out that we don't have an internal firewall on the server > that I am having problems with.
