Could you update your log4j.properties file with the following:
log4j.rootLogger=DEBUG, logfile

log4j.appender.logfile=org.apache.log4j.FileAppender
log4j.appender.logfile.File=c:/tmp/ftpserver.log
log4j.appender.logfile.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout
log4j.appender.logfile.layout.ConversionPattern=%d %p [%c] - %m%n


And send the file created in c:\tmp\ftpserver.log (or similar, update
to the path of your preference) to this list.
